Rough Running for Urban Uprising

Over the weekend, I got together with a brilliant team from Urban Uprising to take part in the Edinburgh Rough Runner.

Urban Uprising is a charity that I’ve been involved with for a few years. The aim is to empower disadvantaged children through climbing.

It’s mostly volunteer run, and we rely on fundraising and grants to provide climbing sessions for young people who might not otherwise get the opportunity. As a team, we’re spread between Glasgow, Edinburgh and we’ll soon have an Uprising starting in Bristol too hopefully! (if you want to get involved – please get in touch!)

We thought that taking part in this Rough Runner event would be a great way to raise funds, an also give us a chance to get together as a team. It’s was tough going, with the course covering a full 10km (Chris completed the 15km course!)

Check out our efforts below!

The fundraising page is still live:

Any donations or support for Urban Uprising would be much much appreciated!
